Even better in the southeast of the country
“Adored by some and hated by others”, the ultra-publicized virologist during this coronavirus pandemic is doing even better on his land, in the south-eastern quarter of France, where the Marseille-Mediterranean IHU is located “in which he valiantly defended chloroquine ”. There, 53% of those questioned trust him to reinvent France.
Behind this podium, there are several political leaders, mainly from the right: Xavier Bertrand (38%), Nicolas Sarkozy (36%) or François Baroin (36%). President Macron is ninth (32%).
Deputy Director of Ifop, Frédéric Dabi said on Europe 1 that he was “struck” by the number of “right-wing personalities” in good position in this survey, even though environmentalists have just won several major French town halls. “The left has a very strong political space but lacks personalities in the event of incarnation,” he commented.
