BJP leader and MP from Hisar constituency in Haryana Brijendra Singh has resigned from BJP. Brijendra soon joined the Congress. BJP MP Rahul Kaswan from Churu constituency in Rajasthan is another MP who left the party. Rahul too will soon join Congress. Rahul, an MP from Rajasthan, was not given a seat by the BJP this time.

Brijendra Singh himself informed about leaving the party through social media. “Due to some compelling political reasons, I am resigning as primary member of the party. I express my gratitude to the party, National President J.P. Nadda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for giving me the opportunity to serve as an MP from Hisar” – Brijendra Singh wrote in X.

Brijendra Singh is the son of BJP leader Chaudhary Birender Singh. Birender will also join the Congress. Both left the Congress and joined the BJP in 2014. He defeated JJP’s Dushyant Chautala in the last election.
