Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen Abdullah Al-Shammari has offered his house in Riyadh for sale due to the large number of cars in the “rental offices”.
Al-Shammari said, in an interview with the “Al-Rased” program, “I have offered the house for sale and now I am looking for an alternative home”, observing: “I feel comfortable in the house because it is close to my work. and my children’s universities, but the problem is that the car rental offices have harassed us ”.
The program report sheds light on the inconvenience caused by car rental shops, explaining: “These are car rental shops and behind them are residential houses, and vigorous efforts are being made to make the neighborhood quiet and undisturbed.”
He continued: “Now this site has become a place to test cars and a space that has been turned into maintenance for those cars and sometimes into temporary parking lots.”
Citizen Marzouq Al-Khalidi said: “There is a manipulation of regulations, as well as the presence of offenders. The state has directed the localization of the car rental sector, but there is a cover-up of foreigners.”
The report indicated: “The people of the Cordoba neighborhood have filed complaints with the authorities concerned and are waiting for a solution to this suffering, which has become an obsession for them.”
Citizen Ibrahim Al-Juaid said: “We resolved the complaints and they didn’t fail with us in the Riyadh municipality and went to the municipality, but no one answered.”
Another citizen continued: “In the evening there is some noise from rental cars and drifting, but there are no solutions to the complaints.”
