The number of people who travel in the area PeakBogor, causing traffic jams. Congestion going on until Wednesday (4/5) tonight.
Bogor Police Chief AKBP Iman Imanuddin said there were at least 3 things that caused traffic jams in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency.
“The first (the cause of traffic jams) is due to the increasing volume of vehicles,” said Iman to detikcom, Wednesday (4/5/2022).
Lebaran holidays make the Puncak area invaded by tourists. Congestion occurs at several points, especially towards tourist and culinary locations.
In addition to the increased volume of vehicles, another cause of congestion at Puncak is due to the large number of overtaking or overtaking vehicles to overtake the vehicle in front by taking the opposite lane.
“Many vehicles, especially motorbikes, jump to overtake other people’s lanes, thus blocking vehicles from the opposite direction and causing traffic jams,” explained Iman.
“Therefore, we urge motorists to be patient and follow the orders of officers in the field, don’t soar,” added Iman.
The third cause of congestion is due to a number of vehicles breaking down.
“There are several vehicles that overheat and break down, thus hampering other vehicles. Therefore, we urge people who want to travel to prepare their vehicles for airworthiness,” he said.
To unravel congestion in the Puncak area, the Bogor Resort Police conducts traffic engineering one way or one direction.
“Currently one way the direction of Jakarta at 10 pm normalize,” said Iman at 21:57 WIB.
