Police receive 12 tips about Coolsingel riots after images show | Inland

After the images were broadcast, a man who had been portrayed already reported to the police, so that a total of fifty people have now been arrested in connection with the riots. Seven other suspects have been shown. The police selected the broadcast images from thousands of hours of material. One of the suspects has been blurred in the picture because he is still a minor.

The riots broke out on November 19 after a demonstration against the government’s corona policy. Police cars, scooters and shops were damaged as a result. Several people were injured, including police officers and people hit by police bullets.
