In Vlaardingen, the police parked a car with eleven passengers on the side of the road. The Toyota Yaris had an adult and ten children.
The vehicle was on its way to an indoor playground for a children’s party. When the car stopped, children emerged from all corners of the car.
“The children were mainly on the floor between the front seats and the back seat and on the bottom of the co-driver’s footwell,” a police spokesperson told Rijnmond.
The driver can expect a fine of 160 euros for carrying more passengers than there are seats.
