Police prevented an attack on the Philadelphia election commission

Police foiled an attack on the Philadelphia Convention Center, where votes from Tuesday’s presidential election are counted. Officers detained one person, ABC television reported.

A firearm was found in the detainee’s car. The man didn’t resist. The police launched an investigation into this.

As reported by ABC television, the reason for the arrest was information received about a person or group of people traveling from Virginia to carry out the attack on the Convention Center in Philadelphia.

There were slogan stickers and the logo of the radical QAnon organization on the vehicle. Its supporters believe, among other things, that Democratic Party politicians – including Hillary Clinton – and the American elite participate in the satanic cannibalistic child trafficking network. Central to the theory is the belief that President Donald Trump will arrest hundreds of prominent figures at the right moment.

In Philadelphia, the counting of votes takes three hours. The votes of this Democratic bastion could be the decisive factor in Joe Biden’s victory across the state of Pennsylvania and, consequently, across the country. President Trump accused – without providing evidence – that election fraud was taking place there.
