Two Florida police officers have been reprimanded in an internal investigation after being found guilty of leaking information about Bob Saget’s death.

Details about Saget’s death were leaked from employees to acquaintances and on to social media before Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo had received information that her husband was dead, according to an internal investigation which Entertainment Tonight has gained access to.
The saw was found dead in his hotel room The Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida on January 9 this year. The American actor and comedian turned 65 years old.
In Norway, he was best known for his role in the series “Under the same roof” and as host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, but he also had a successful career as a stand-up comedian.
–The brother tweeted
According to the report, the two police officers violated the internal directives by telling about the death to friends and family members, who then mentioned the death on social media.
Rizzo is said to have started receiving inquiries from the media before the police had come in contact with her, according to ET.
One policeman sent a text message to his brother. The brother then wrote “RIP Bob Saget” on Twitter before his wife knew he was dead. The tweet was also published before forensic doctors had arrived at the scene.
The other policeman is said to have confirmed the death to a friend who was at Saget’s performance the night he died. The policeman was not involved in the investigation.
Died after fall
The policemen have now been suspended for 81 hours. Both say there were no bad intentions behind the leaks.
Rizzo is known as a journalist and TV host and married Saget in 2018. After the death became known, she went out and said she was completely shattered.
The cause of death was head injuries after a fall. Shortly afterwards, Rizzo and his three daughters went to court demanding that investigative documents were not to be published. The family wanted further details about the death to be treated confidentially.
