MORTENSRUD, OSLO (Dagbladet): At 19.23 on Sunday night, the police were notified that a person had been found shot at Mortensrud in Oslo.
– We were notified that a man had been found shot outdoors in the area by Mortensrud church. He has received treatment on the spot and is now on his way to hospital, says operations manager Gjermund Stokkli to Dagbladet.
The victim, a man in his late 20s, is seriously but not critically injured. His condition is stable, but he is unable to be questioned.
Monday morning, there are still no arrests in the case, the crime leader at Krimvakta, Kjersti Myhre, informs Dagbladet-
– There is nothing to indicate that the victim was a random victim, but we have not yet arrested anyone, she says just at 04.30 on Monday.
The case is being investigated as grievous bodily harm, the crime boss states.

Task leader Gunhild Finne Nilsen said on Sunday night that the police are sure that the site is not the scene. The police therefore searched for a car that could be linked to the incident.
– Do you think the offended are transported to Mortensrud church in the car?
– Yes, we know he is, Nilsen answered Dagbladet’s question directly on Sunday.
– Where did the car come from?
– It was in the immediate vicinity, said operations manager Gjermund Stokkli to Dagbladet just before 10.30 pm.
It was one or more witnesses who gave the police a description of the car, which was seen driving from the place where the man was found. For the time being, the police will not go out with what type of car it is.

In an update just after 11 pm on Sunday night, Finne Nilsen confirmed that the police have located a crime scene.
– We have now located a crime scene and forensic technicians have been on the scene and conducted investigations. In addition, investigations are being made at places other than the crime scene, she told Dagbladet.
– Do you have control over a weapon?
– I have no information about weapons at the moment, but we are sure that the person has been shot.
Relatives have still not been notified.

– Lots of armed police
Dagbladet’s reporter on the spot reported that there is a large police presence in the area on Sunday night.
– We try to investigate until the suspect or suspects. There are lots of armed police here, in addition to a police helicopter, Stokkli told Dagbladet.

But on Monday morning, they have not arrested anyone.
