Police lose boxes with practice weapons: investigation message | Inland

It concerns two red plastic boxes and a wooden box. The practice weapons can no longer be used and are marked, police said.

It is not clear exactly how the boxes could fall out of the van. The door may have opened due to a faulty lock. The driver discovered on the driveway to the A6 in the direction of Almere Poort that the boxes had disappeared and immediately parked the bus along the side of the road.

Agents then combed the area and found some other lost items from the van, but could no longer find the boxes.
