The police have launched an investigation into a sexual assault that took place on Monday afternoon at a campsite in Rheeze, Overijssel, in the municipality of Hardenberg. The identity of the victim has not been released in connection with the privacy of those involved.
Well let the police know that yesterday’s incident is comparable to a sexual incident with a child at the same De Zandstuve campsite in April. That happened in the toilet block of the holiday resort.
Police are investigating and questioning visitors. People who saw something striking or suspicious on or near the campsite on Monday are called on to report. Visual material is especially welcome.
