Police: In the CCTV Case of Alleged Harassment at Soekarno-Hatta, the Alleged Perpetrator and Victim are indeed nearby

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Police are investigating recording CCTV at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in the investigation of the alleged case harassment sexual acts committed by a man with the initials EF against a woman with the initials LHI.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus said, from the results of the examination so far, CCTV footage it shows the two are close together.

“If we look at the CCTV (footage) that was there at that time, it is true that the victim was wearing the same clothes as what was conveyed, just close,” Yusri told reporters, Thursday (9/24/2020).

However, the CCTV footage is still being examined to find acts of abuse that were told on social media of the alleged victim.

“But it doesn’t look like what (the harassment) looks like. That’s why we have to check again,” said Yusri.

LHI also reported allegations of fraud committed by EF, officers rapid test from Kimia Farma, along with the alleged sexual harassment. The police have named EF as a suspect in the fraud case.

The police asked EF to come to the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police to explain the case that involved him. The reason is, EF disappeared at the same time as being declared a suspect.

“We hope this EF will come to us to conduct an examination,” said Yusri.

The alleged case of harassment and fraud became known to the public after the victim exposed it to social media using a Twitter account @listongs.

After retesting and getting the results as promised, which is non-reactive, the victim leaves the test site. However, EF turned out to be after him and asked for Rp. 1.4 million for the result.

The victim said he was forced to pay by transferring Rp. 1.4 million to EF’s personal account.

After that, all of a sudden, EF kissed the victim. The victim admitted that he was shocked and could not avoid or scream for help.
