Through social networks, the Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, reported that three elements of the municipal police of Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos were arrested for their alleged participation in the death of Giovanni López.
“My commitment was to do everything in my power so that there is #JusticiaParaGiovanni and I will not rest until everyone involved in this brutal event suffers all the consequences of their actions,” he wrote.
Likewise, he reaffirmed that a mask was not involved in the arrest of Giovanni López.
“No matter the reason for an arrest, there is no justification for violating anyone’s rights. I give you my word: this death will not go unpunished, “he stressed.
