The police are looking for a rider in Lage Vuursche who injured a boa of the municipality of Baarn with his horse. The rider received a ticket for riding his horse in the woods in a place where that is not allowed.
While the receipt was being issued, the horse began to rear. As a result, the enforcer fell and got his electric motor over him. The boa suffered abrasions to his face. The rider then ran off.
The police visit equestrian centers in the area and call on witnesses to come forward, a spokesperson told RTV Utrecht. The rider was wearing a light T-shirt and dark breeches. He rode on a reddish brown horse.
Mayor Röell van Baarn writes Twitter that he has spoken to the boa. He speaks of “completely unacceptable” behavior. “You stay away from our aid workers.”
