On Thursday afternoon, the fire brigade and police had to catch escaped pigs in Lille. The owner of a forest at Rolleken in Lille saw stray pigs in her forest and informed the emergency services.
The twelve pigs had escaped from their enclosure. The fire brigade and the police managed to herd the creatures together with enough men, wooden panels and safety nets. After more than 2 hours, all pigs were able to return home just before dark.
