The French rapper was to perform in Crans-près-Céligny, Saturday, June 20.
Caribana follows in the footsteps of several festivals including “the Main Square Festival in Arras, the Garorock in Marmande, the Dour Festival in Belgium, and the VYV Festival in Dijon”, listed “Le Figaro” on its website on Wednesday.

Faced with the emerging controversy, the rapper wanted to defend himself in videos published on social networks: “I am not homophobic, each for himself, God for all […]. I do not condone the murder at all, nor the gay child, nothing to do, off topic, it is a misunderstanding […]. Koba LaD specifies having shared this capture while being “dark” (note: smashed). Then, in a second filmed sequence, he said he had “expressed badly”, assures “Le Figaro”. With the cancellations that multiply, his vacation is likely to be prolonged, as his future tour seems seriously threatened. For its part, Caribana has not yet announced the name of the artist who will replace the French rapper.
