Since then, fans have speculated wildly about his whereabouts: Did Papa Ketchum leave the family to find his own adventure in the world of pocket monsters, or did he tragically die in Ash’s childhood days or before he was born?
The answer to the questions is now at least partially provided by the new “Pokémon” film that has already been broadcast in Japan. In this, the main protagonist speaks for the first time about his producer. In the film’s novel, Ash even confirms that his father not only exists, but that he even knows him personally.
