Pokémon GO: friendship levels and how to earn experience points

If something has characterized the community of pokemon trainers it is precisely the interaction. For this reason, for some time, Pokémon GO incorporated the function that allows players to add several friends to their profile, both to carry out raids, fight against them in confrontations, but also to exchange some gifts that bring endless rewards.

How to add friends in Pokémon GO?

Making friends in Pokémon GO is a feature that is available from the first Trainer level. Therefore, as soon as you start playing you can make friends. Remember that you can add up to 200 friends at most. To add a new friend in the game follow these steps:

  • Open the game and go to your profile tab, in the lower left corner of the screen.
  • Click on the section called “Friends”.
  • Now click on the button that says “Add friends.”
  • When you click on this button, a section will appear with your Personal Trainer code. A little further down you will see a section where you can enter another player’s Coach code.
  • Then you have to ask another player to share their code with you.
  • This code, made up of 12 numbers, must be entered in the menu.
  • Once you write all the Coach code, click on the “Send” button and the other player will receive your friend request.
  • The other player must accept the request and they can be friends.
