The breakthrough at the Water Palace will begin on September 29, reports a reporter Plovdiv24.bg. Today, the deputy mayor for construction in the Plovdiv municipality Plamen Raichev signed the building permit for the site.
The value of the construction and installation activities within the “Breakthrough of the Water Palace – Two-level transport interchange for the connection of Tsar Boris III Obedinitel Blvd. and Maritsa Yug Blvd.” project amounts to BGN 9.2 million. funds are part of The Loan of 30 million that the Municipality of Plovdiv has taken from the Fund for Sustainable Cities.
According to the administration’s plans, the plant is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
It has recently become clear that the future intersection will only have right turns. The reversal of the direction of travel will take place at the closest intersections, as it is technically not possible to exit directly from the local lanes at the lower level.
