Pleasant Temperatures Forecast – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK — Thanksgiving is one day away and it looks like the temperatures will be pleasant enough to enjoy the festivities and the traditional 2022 Macy’s parade.

Our weather authority points out that although the day is starting to get cold, temperatures should be closer to average.

The forecast looks great for the parade, dinner and after-dinner ride with temperatures reaching 50 degrees and dry conditions.

Isabel Peralta-Hill gives us the details on the 96th episode of the New York show.

However, some showers are possible Black Friday, or Black Friday. If you plan on shopping, don’t worry! There will be no heavy rains and only a few are expected.

The Tri-State area will enjoy a short lull as the weekend begins, with Saturday expected to be a dry day before more impactful showers Sunday.

While showers are expected on Sunday, it won’t last all day. However, rain will affect all airports in the Northeast at some point during the day, even as far south as the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Winds will also intensify later in the day and into Monday.

Meanwhile, next week begins with a forecast in the 50s with mostly sunny skies before the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting next Wednesday. (For more on the 2022 Rockefeller Tree Lighting, click here.)
