Sony has announced the new free games for subscribers to PlayStation Plus February 2021, which aim to strengthen the position of the service among the favorites of console users.
A position that seemed to be strengthened even more from the recent price increase of the direct competitor, although this was later denied within a few hours after the controversy raised by Xbox users.
Free titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers, the second wave of 2021 after the one announced last December, they were unveiled today, the last Wednesday of the month, punctually at 17:30, as is the tradition for the season ticket.
It is also part of the list of titles offered on PlayStation Plus Destruction All-Stars, a PS5 exclusive originally scheduled to launch the console but then postponed to February and included from day one in the service, with the ransom that will be executable for two months (until April 5th) before the release is offered at full price.
“Destruction All-Stars is a multiplayer game that offers its best in challenges against online gamers from all over the world”, the developers had explained at the time of the postponement.
“We want as many people as possible to plunge into total destruction on PS5, and to achieve this, is there a better way to offer the game to PlayStation Plus members?”

- Control Ultimate Edition
- Concrete Genie
- Destruction All-Stars
Big surprise for the Ultimate Edition of Control, the only version that allows the console to upgrade to the next-gen variant that will be available in the first months of the year.
This edition is also complete with DLCs The Foundation e AWE, the first stage of the shared universe of Remedy titles with a spin-off dedicated to Alan Wake.
Complete the now traditional triptych of the platform Concrete Genie, the delightful PlayStation 4 exclusive signed Pixelopus and also compatible with PS VR.
Be Destruction All-Stars that Control Ultimate Edition will be equipped with the functionality Game Help, which allows PS Plus subscribers to get help via video directly on PS5.
The new games will be redeemable starting from Tuesday 2nd February to Monday 1st March.
2020 ended in the best way with three games guaranteed in December, including the new release Worms Rumble for PS4 and PS5.
The year had been pretty satisfying overall, with some big players from the PlayStation 4 catalog getting involved in the PS Plus monthly offers.
2021 has started instead with the ferocity of the sharks of Maneater, and two other single-player titles that should have pleased PlayStation users who have always been accustomed to the action adventure genre.
The latter will continue to be redeemable until February 1, before exiting the rotations and making room for newcomers.
