Pilots on flight BA438 from London Heathrow to Amsterdam had to abort their landing on the Polderbaan on Wednesday afternoon when they discovered that not all passengers were safely in place yet. According to aviation website Airlive, cabin crew discovered that one of the travelers was not yet in his seat, but was still in the toilet.
However, the discovery was only made when the pilots were already landing the Airbus A319, so they had to abort the landing. After aborting the landing, a so-called go-around, the pilots made a new landing attempt and put the aircraft safely on the ground.
As far as is known, the safety of the passengers has not been compromised.
