– Let Rafa Trzaskowski apologize for defending a pedophile-celebrity – says PiS vice vice-president, member of the electoral staff of President Andrzej Duda Radosaw Fogiel, at a press conference.
Fogiel, together with PiS spokesman spokesman Adam Bielan, MEP of the Agreement, reminds Trzaskowski of his speech on Roman Polaski.
– You have to be careful, of course. One could expect this to lead to some awkwardness. On the other hand, Roman Polaski has enormous merits when it comes to Polish cultures, so I understand that you can have a problem with making an unambiguous decision. However, it would be prudent, first of all, that Roman Polaski himself would not be exposed to such situations – says Trzaskowski on TVN24 in 2014, when the Prosecutor General’s Office in Warsaw received a special request from the US government to detain director Roman Polaski.
In the US, Polaski is accused of a guat from March 10, 1977, on 13-year-old Samantha Gailey (later Gaimer).
Fogiel and Bielan emphasized that they would not have raised the topic if earlier “Trzaskowski had not spewed media and staff bull terriers” regarding the indictment by President Andrzej Dud of a man convicted of pedophiles.

“Andrzej Duda often applies a request, guided by” humanitarian considerations “(e.g., poor health) as against a convict for fraud (decision of 19 May) or for, among others, material fraud (of 23 March). The presidential minister Pawe Mucha later emphasized that the pardon took place at the request of the injured parties and concerned only a measure in the form of a ban on approaching the victims, because the perpetrator of the prison served his sentence in full.
– PO politicians have fallen very low, start using the drama of the family, human drama to attack the president Andrzej Dud strenuously – says Bielan.
Then Bielan reminds that in 2016, when the Sejm voted for a project introducing a register of sexual offenses (colloquially called the pedophile register), the PO abstained from voting, but Trzaskowski did not take part in the vote.
– Why doesn’t Rafa Trzaskowski support this very important act? asks Bielan.
– This defense of Polaski may be the answer to the question why they do not vote in this matter – says Fogiel.
