Stefano Pioli, among the many topics touched upon in the press conference preceding tomorrow’s match against Spezia, spoke ofmisfortune to the meniscus occurred to Tomori. A serious loss, especially if we think of the injury – even more serious – of which Kjaer, his companion in the department, is the victim.
The English defender seems to have put his sights on the match against Inter, scheduled for next 6 February. This is the thought of his coach:
“Let’s see how the situation evolves, if it were up to him he would already play tomorrow. Fortunately, the surgery was successful, but the recovery times are those. There is no escape. We will see“.
“As for the pitch, it is true that we and Inter play a lot but I don’t think Tomori’s injury is attributable to it. After the break, of course, I hope to play on better ground“.
