More fear than harm. Wednesday 23 December 2020, a driver of bus RATP finished his race in a dwelling of Pavillons-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) for a reason for the moment unknown.
Loss of vehicle control
The accident happened at around 12.50 a.m., when the driver of the bus 148 was on the road to the depot, located just a few hundred from the crash. For some as yet unknown reason, he loses control of his vehicle boulevard de Paris. The bus was not carrying a passenger.
In his course, he destroys the portal of a house before entering the wall of the latter. The accident, spectacular and “extremely rare” according to the RATP communication service, fortunately did not not hurt.
Negative to narcotics and alcohol
The RATP specifies that the toxicological and alcohol analyzes were found to be negative. The driver was “taken care of by his superiors”.
A victim assistance and assistance cell was opened for the inhabitants of the house. An investigation is underway to determine the precise causes of the accident.
