Photos show new Corsair PhD water cooler with built-in LCD – Computer – News

Images of a new Corsair PhD water cooler have appeared. This cooler has, among other things, a circular LCD panel, on which, for example, the CPU temperature can be displayed.

The images are published by tech website VideoCardz, who also writes that the cooler is compatible with Intel’s upcoming socket LGA1700. This makes the PhD water cooler suitable for the upcoming Alder Lake processors, the first of which is expected to appear on November 4. The photos show the Corsair cooler on an unannounced Z690 Prime motherboard from ASUS, along with Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory.

The water cooler has a radiator with two argb fans. The water block is square and has a circular LCD. Corsair has recently published teasers on Twitter, which shows that users can display the CPU temperature, pump speed, or the temperature of the coolant on the LCD, among other things. Users can also display animated gifs on the screen. Corsair reports that the company will announce more details about the PhD cooler next week.
