After a tightened version in 2020 because of the health crisis, the 2021 Cabourg Film Festival is back. It takes place until Sunday, June 13. The charity opening dinner of this 35th edition was held this Thursday, June 10 at the Grand Hotel. Louis Bertignac gave a concert during this evening, which took place for the benefit of the association Les petits frères des poor. The singer had come with his companion, Laetitia Brichet, with whom he had a little Jack in 2016.
As every year, the program of the event puts the spotlight on French and international films relating to the theme of romanticism and great feelings. Marc Dugain is thus in competition with his film Eugenie Grandet. The director was present with his actress, Valérie Bonneton, the ex-companion of François Cluzet, this Thursday, June 10 in Cabourg. Just like the brothers David and Stéphane Foenkinos who came to defend their film Fantasies.

This year, the director and academician of Fine Arts, Regis Wargnier, is the president of the jury. A jury made up of director and screenwriter Zoé Wittock, singer Jeanne Added, screenwriter Raphaëlle Desplechin, producer David Gauquié and actors Alice Belaïdi, Marisa Berenson, Vahina Giocante, Izia Higelin, Fatou N’Diaye and Grégoire Leprince -Ringuet. Jérémy Clapin is, for his part, president of the short film jury. He will be supported in his mission by Marilou Aussilloux, Claire Chust, Brigitte Fossey, Alexia Giordano, Aliocha Schneider, Victor Belmondo and Dadju.
