Eight criminals involved in the grenade attack on the La Ruzzería establishment in Maracaibo were detained by officials from Cicpc Zulia.
On the afternoon of this Saturday, July 4, when the month of the attack is over two days away, spokesmen for the scientific police reported the arrest of 8 investigated for extortion in the Zulia capital and the municipality of San Francisco. However, they expressed that this place, located in the 5 de Julio sector, had also been attacked on April 23 of this year.
The apprehended were identified as Gabriel José Guillén Godoy, logistics cooperator; Pedro Manuel Mena Torres, alias “Mongo”, 38 years old and designated as “the material author of throwing the two grenades”.
Luis David Ramos García, 27, was also arrested and requested by the Third Control Court of the Zulia state, for the crime of exploitation. In the case of the attack on La Ruzzería, he was said to be the “logistics cooperator, keep firearms.”
About José Martín Dávila Arias, 30, they reported that “he was the immediate cooperator and was present at the scene.”
Other detainees are Jhonny Alejandro Leal Leal, 30, and another “logistics cooperator, who received the explosive device used on the 6th of last month.
