The breathtaking concert featured a selection of Dagamba’s best compositions, highlighting this year’s great anniversaries Ludwig van Beethoven, who is 250 years old this year, and Peter Tchaikovsky, who is 180 years old.

The group “Dagamba” combines different musical cultures in their creative activity, creating a unique and special sound. The musicians boldly travel to the worlds of music that have not yet been mastered, which gives the performance a unique dynamism and vitality.

The aim of the group is to cross borders and connect seemingly incompatible ones – different worlds, traditions and generations of listeners. They are classical music rockers and bellows, amazing arrangers, whose big concerts in “Arena Riga” and “Palladium” have gathered thousands of listeners. Academically educated musicians boldly synthesize pop, rock, classical and world music. The band’s shows are monumental and effective, bringing classical music melodies to life with incredible dynamism and vitality, and at the end of last week it was also enjoyed by the guests of Dzintari Concert Hall.
