PHOTO ⟩ Our old town comes alive! A look at the first day of the “Old Riga Festival”.

The initiators and organizers of the “Old Riga Festival” are the well-known bars of the old town – “B Bārs Restorāns”, “Cuba Cafe”, “Bārs Garāža” and “Rīgas Ķirsis”, who, by combining their knowledge, aim to make Old Riga the best, most active and interesting in the Baltics the old town of the countries.

The festival is symbolically organized in the impressive premises of the former “Latvia Casino” on Kalķu Street, which have been undeservedly neglected until now. The choice of these premises is significant, as they will allow festival visitors to appreciate the charm of Old Riga and experience the interior of another era combined with a varied musical and performance program over two days.

On the first day of the festival on March 22, festival-goers had the opportunity to laugh with comedian Gati Kandi, “Borderline Comedy” and “Futurmamma”, hear musicians I MEAN LOVE, “Bel Tempo” and “24th Avenue”, as well as dance with popular DJ Roy Rogers , in the rhythms of Robert Gobziņš and Tom Grävinas.
