Dyour house Booker had 26 points and six assists and the Phoenix Suns won for the eighth consecutive game, incidentally giving Houston its 11th loss in a row, in a 115-89 beating over the Rockets on Sunday.
Booker scores 16 points in the first quarter and ended up hitting nine of 23 shots from the field. JaVale McGee added 19 points and 14 rebounds in a performance of nine of 12 successful field goals.
Chris Paul finished with 15 points and seven steals, while Mikal Bridges had 14 points and six boards. Phoenix made 43% of his field goals and 14 of 40 3-point attempts.
Christian Wood contributes 17 units and eight rebounds for Houston, which has the worst record in the NBA, 1-12.
Jalen Green, Eric Gordon and Kevin Porter Jr. added 12 points each and Alperen Sengun finished with 10 points and 10 boards.
Houston made 41% of his field goals and seven 3-pointers in 32 attempts. The Rockets committed 23 turnovers that the Suns converted into 22 points.
Phoenix was winning 51-44 and started the second half with a 20-6 streak. to extend his lead to 71-50. Booker had 10 points and Paul had six on that streak. Houston couldn’t get within 12 points for the remainder of the game.
