Philippe Gildas: his widow Maryse talks about her difficult mourning (video excluded)

Philippe and Marys Gildas met in the 80s when they were both working at Europe 1. The couple got married in August 1984 even if the journalist will confess later on the program of Thierry Ardisson “Everyone in speaks “that the real marriage took place in 1990 because in 1984 he was not yet divorced. The lovers lived a beautiful story until the death of Philippe Gildas. The star host of “Nowhere Else” on Canal + died on October 28, 2018 from cancer. Her widow Maryse Gildas, guest of Non Stop People, confided in the death of her husband and in her difficult mourning. “I am alone, a little abandoned. He is there but I am alone,” says the former host of Europe 1.

The couple lived a beautiful love story for 36 years

“But finally, already 36 years of happiness, we are not bad, you have to be positive but it was very very hard, the end was very hard but he is present, he is there, I feel he can protect me”, says Maryse Gildas. “I like to tell myself that he (is near me),” she adds on Non Stop People. The widow of Philippe Gildas could however count on the support of many relatives. “He was a discoverer of talents and they are still there, even if they were starting to be old too. They were all there, they came to see him. Thank you all, it warms up, it feels good”, she declared at the time of her death on Europe 1. “Friends who passed by, I didn’t think there would be as many … It’s extraordinary, the messages I have had since that night”, added Maryse Gildas.
