Philip Cracco (56) passed away: the flamboyant businessman fought …

Philip Cracco, known for his participation in “The Sky Is the Limit”, has passed away. The flamboyant businessman who sold the Rodania watch brand two years ago, had been fighting prostate cancer for several years. He has now lost that battle.

At the beginning of 2016, a malignant tumor was diagnosed at Cracco during a medical examination. The former rally pilot never wanted to talk about it much and did not want to give in. “Every morning during workdays I have to go to the hospital for my treatment,” he said in a rare interview about that in 2016. “It’s the only hour of the day that I’m sick,” he said then.

Two years ago, Cracco – who made a fortune with interim agency Accent, JobFIXers and BOEMM – presented Rodania. After selling his shares in Accent in 2014, he had bought the timepiece brand because he received a Rodania for his solemn communion. And because he remembered Rodania’s legendary tune so well from when the race passed his front door. And because he thought he could earn a lot of money by expanding the Rodania store network in America.

But watches were apparently a very different business than the interim sector, in which the West Fleming grew up.

His staff say on social media that in recent months he has been fighting an unequal battle that he could no longer win.

He leaves behind his girlfriend Aisha Van Zele (35) and two children from a previous marriage.
