Philadelphia have fired head coach Doc Rivers, according to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 61-year-old coach spent three years with the Sixers. In each of the three seasons, the team was eliminated in the second round of the playoffs. The result of Rivers as the head coach of Philadelphia in the regular season is 154 wins and 82 losses (65.3%).
This season, Philadelphia took 3rd place in the Eastern Conference following the results of the regular season, after which they defeated Brooklyn in the first round of the playoffs (4-0) and lost to Boston in the second (3-4).
