For now, it is not known when the overdue match would take place. The problem is the lack of free dates in the football calendar. The next window for the national team’s matches is scheduled for June, but it is fully reserved for the League of Nations.

The Ukrainians and the Scots are in one group of this competition. The first of the two meetings is scheduled for June 7. The Scottish Sun daily claims that FIFA and UEFA are discussing the result of this match in two competitions – and in the Nations League, and the play-offs for promotion to the World Cup.

Consultations on this matter have been going on for several weeks now. Both concerned federations were informed that such a scenario was being considered.

The Welsh players are already waiting for the Ukrainians or the Scots in the final. The winner of the World Cup will play in Group B against England, Iran and the United States.
