Pfizer pediatric vaccination starts tomorrow in the capital

From January 16 to 22, the pediatric vaccine against Covid-19 Pfizer will be applied in the different medical units and health centers in the city of Chihuahua, according to information from the Ministry of Well-being.

The vaccine will be applied to children between the ages of 5 and 11 who are behind, who for some reason have not attended to be vaccinated previously.

The unit reported that the anti-Covid-19 vaccine will be applied both in medical units and hospitals of the IMSS, ISSSTE and the Ministry of Health to serve the largest possible population.

The IMSS units in which more will be vaccinated are the HGR1 IMSS “Morelos”, as well as in the medical units number 2, 4, 33, 44 and 69 of this capital city.

On the part of the ISSSTE, it will be applied at the Lázaro Cárdenas General Hospital, and at the Chihuahua Family Medical Center.

In the case of the Ministry of Health, the vaccine will be applied at the Ejido Ocampo Health Center; at the Central State Hospital, at Dr. Salvador Zubirán General Hospital and Specialty Children’s Hospital.

Similarly, at the Ejido Ocampo Health Center, CS Villa Juárez, CS Paula Aún de Aguirre, CS Revolución, CS División del Norte, CS 2 de Octubre, at CAAPS Nogales and at CESSA San Felipe.

It will also be available at CS Rinconada los Nogales, CS El Sauz, CS Martín López, and CS San Jorge.

It asks moms and dads to present the printed record that can be downloaded on the page www.mivacuna.gob.mx when they go to take their daughters or sons, indicating the age group of the vaccine to be applied.

The Ministry of Well-being reminds the population that the vaccine against Covid-19 can prevent severe forms of the disease, for which it invited children under 5 years of age to bring it.

The Pfizer pediatric vaccine is approved for the children’s population, so it is safe and of great help to the health of minors.
