PewDiePie signs deal to livestream exclusively on YouTube | NOW

Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, has signed an exclusive livestream deal with YouTube Gaming, writes Variety Monday. Last year, Kjellberg made another deal to stream exclusively on DLive, a small live streaming platform, but the streamer is happy to return to YouTube.

“YouTube has been my home for over a decade now, and going live streaming on the platform now feels very natural,” said Kjellberg. Kjellberg has over 104 million subscribers.

The deal comes three years after YouTube ended the business deals with PewDiePie. PewDiePie was then discredited for allegedly making anti-Semitic jokes in his videos.

PewDiePie announced to go at the end of 2019 stop with YouTube due to fatigue. He returned after a 36-day break back on the platform.

Kjellberg is the latest big name to make a deal with the platform. YouTube has recently made similar exclusive deals with streamers, including Valkyrae and Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop.
