Petya Dubarova’s father, Stayko Dubarov, died at the age of 90. He died at his home in Burgas on New Year’s Eve shortly before his birthday on January 9. Before he died, he lay down after a stroke.

In 2014, Petya’s mother Maria died.

Stayko Dubarov was buried today. He lived to watch the film “Petya for my Petya”, with which the Municipality of Burgas honored the great poet for the 40th anniversary of her death.
