By increasing maintenance for an additional minor daughter Paroubek a debt has arisen which he will have to repay. According to iDNES.cz, it is four thousand crowns back for each month that a woman took care of their daughter. For the period from 23 October 2018 (the date of the legal force of entrusting the child to care) until the end of May 2020, the court calculated the amount due at 77 thousand crowns. The ex-prime minister has been paying off the debt since August, in monthly installments of two thousand. “If he is late, the debt will become due at once,” the judge decided.

So far, Paroubek has paid ten thousand crowns for his daughter, and in addition he has contributed about four thousand crowns to her building savings and supplementary study insurance. Now he has the whole amount – 14 thousand – to send to his wife. She decides how to handle the money for the child. “The father is obliged to pay maintenance in the hands of the mother in the set amount, without being able to unilaterally decide on the maintenance in another way,” the judge said.
