De Mol recently said that she did not make the choice for her own career, but mainly out of loyalty to her brother John. “I know how strong their bond is and I know what John has meant for Linda’s career, even at the beginning. So I understand that she opts for loyalty. ”

Van der Vorst finds it difficult to say whether he had made the same choice as Linda. “My brother is a truck driver. So I can’t really imagine that situation. You must always take loyalty towards your employer into account, of course. But in their case I understand the choice. ”
