It is not easy to get criticism every now and then. At least, that applies to Peter R. de Vries who was stung like a wasp reacted to a slightly less attractive description of RTL Boulevard, where the crime reporter as a regular schnabbelaar knows how to fill his pockets.
Like the rest of the left leaning Netherlands, Peter R. de Vries yesterday watched the broadcast of Summer guests with lawyer Inez Weski. We already reviewed that show on DDS. “A mediocre episode,” wrote editor Bart Reijmerink, who also approached presenter Janine Abbring, due to her lack of “knowledge or expertise” and the tendency to always throw in her personal thoughts.
However, Abbring was right in one thing: that RTL Boulevard is a gossip program that focuses on the private lives of Dutch celebrities for excitement and sensation. No, she didn’t say that exactly, but was probably what she meant. And who is wrong about that?
But who is there then crying tears with spouts because his favorite scab is being tackled? Exactly: Peter R. de Vies. Who pretends in a hilarious tweet that the television equivalent of Story / Privé / Weekend is a kind of high-quality journalistic feat. De Vries complains and whines:
“During ‘Summer Guests’ Janine Abbring says to Inez Weski: ‘We are not RTL Boulevard’. Indeed. In general, better questions are asked at Boulevard and people master the matter more than Ms. Abbring tonight, who was completely off track. ”
The track completely lost. Well. Interesting choice of words. Because what did we call it when De Vries became big friends with Heineken kidnapper Cor van ‘t Hout, totally and absolutely on the right and best train tracks, sometimes…? No, right?
