RB Leipzig: Gulasci could leave RB in the summer
Leipzig keeper Peter Gulasci could leave RB in the summer thanks to a secret clause. His advisor Hasan Cetinkaya, who also represents Emil Forsberg and Frenkie de Jong, told the picture approved. “I can confirm that there is a clause in Peter’s contract that can be activated this summer,” he said.
He did not want to give any information about the amount of the clause: “No comment. Just this much: It is very low even for Corona times.”
According to the report, the Saxons would like to buy the clause from Gulacsi, but the club has to pay attention to the expenses in times of Corona. “I can understand Leipzig. But it is now up to Oliver Mintzlaff alone how things go with Peter in Leipzig,” added Cetinkaya.
With eight white vests and only 14 goals conceded throughout the season, Gulasci is currently the league’s best keeper in terms of statistics. His contract in Leipzig is dated until 2023.
