The iClinic Bratislava Capitals hockey club extended their contract with coach Peter Draisaitl until the end of next season. Jiří Šolc remains his assistant.
“We are very happy to have agreed with Mr. Draisaitl on further cooperation. I believe that we will be able to build on the quality performances from the end of last season and step by step we will meet other goals of the club in the new season,” stated in the press release the general director of the club Dušan Pašek.
“I lived with the team quite quickly and we achieved some nice results. We will go to the next season again with humility and an effort to fulfill our ambitions,” said Draisaitl.
The Capitals finished 7th in the regular season of the ICE Hockey League, losing to HC Bolzano 1: 4 in the quarterfinals of the playoffs.
