PT Pertamina (Persero) will launch Pertamax Green 95 at five gas stations in Jakarta and 10 gas station Surabaya next week.
“We did launching want to be in one city (Surabaya), outside Jakarta, but now Jakarta is also joining. So later we will launching in two cities,” explained the Main Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Riva Siahaan in Jakarta, Saturday (22/7).
In detail, in Jakarta Pertamax Green will be available at gas stations 31.128.02 Jalan MT Haryono, COCO gas stations 31.124.01 Jalan RS Fatmawati, and gas stations 31.124.01 Jalan Fatmawati.
Then, at the gas station 31.126.01 Jalan Lenteng Agung Raya and the gas station 31.122.04 Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda (Pondok Indah Artery).
Meanwhile in Surabaya, Pertamax Green will be available at Jemursari gas stations, Sutomo gas stations, Mulyosari gas stations, Merr gas stations, Ketintang gas stations, and Karang Asem gas stations. Then, at the Mastrip gas station, Citra Raya Boulevard gas station, Juanda gas station, and Buduran gas station.
However, Riva has not been able to disclose in detail regarding the price of Pertamax Green. He said prices would be announced later.
“In terms of price, what is certain is Pertamina’s products, I will convey this, Pertamina’s products are high quality But affordable price. That’s the clue,” Riva said.
On a separate occasion, Pahala Nugraha Mansury, former deputy minister of BUMN I, once revealed that Pertamax Green 95 would sell for IDR 13,500 per liter.
“About Rp. 13,500 maybe. Sales trials have been carried out in East Java. Launching is the 3rd week of July,” he said, last Tuesday (4/7).
Pertamax Green 95 is fuel made from a mixture of Pertamax RON 92 with 5 percent ethanol. The ethanol is derived from sugarcane molasses.
The advantage of using bioethanol fuel is considered to be able to reduce carbon dioxide gas emissions and can increase octane levels when mixed into fuel products.
