Pertamina Affirms No Withdrawal of 12 Kg LPG Cylinders, but …

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina (Persero) has opened its voice regarding the withdrawal news LPG tube 12 kilograms (kg) in the community.

Pertamina MOR III Communication Relations & CSR Unit Manager, Eko Kristiawan, denied the news of the withdrawal of the blue gas cylinder.

He explained, the scenario that will happen is the natural conversion of a 12 kg LPG tube with a tube bright gas pink.

“There is no withdrawal, what is there is a natural or natural replacement,” Eko told Kompas.com, Wednesday (11/11/2020).

Furthermore, Eko explained, the exchange will be made when the customer refills the LPG cylinder.

“(Conversion) subject to availability (bright gas) too, “he said.

Thus, Eko ensures that later customers who have not received the tubes bright gas can still use the 12 kg LPG cylinder.

“So instead of the blue 12 kg tube being pulled straight, it does not automatically happen,” he said.

For the exchange itself, Eko ensures that his party does not charge anything or is free.

“Basically, the contents and prices of gas in the blue and pink cylinders are the same,” said Eko.
