A person has been arrested after a suspicious death in Stjørdal in Trøndelag.
– The circumstances surrounding this death are of such a nature that we see this as a suspicious death, says operations manager at the police in Trøndelag, Trond Volden, to NRK.
The police have cordoned off a private address in Stjørdal where a tactical and technical investigation is ongoing.
The deceased has not yet been identified, and the police do not have enough grounds to contact next of kin.
– We received a report of an incident at 1948. At the address we find a dead person. A person has now been charged with having something to do with this, says Volden.

The first report from the police was that they had gone to a private address in Stjørdal following a report of a serious incident of violence.
The operations manager says the situation has been clarified, and that there should be no danger to the surroundings.
