DENPASAR – Former striker Persipura JayapuraMarinus Wanewar, reacted to find the team nicknamed Mutiara Hitam relegated from League 1. Not accepting this condition, Marinus Wanewar went on a rampage on social media.
Persipura became the last team to be declared relegated from League 1. Despite a 3-0 win over Persita Tangerang on Thursday, March 31, 2022, the team nicknamed the Black Pearl was still declared relegated. Because in another match, Barito Putera drew with Persib Bandung.
Persipura and Barito Putera also have the same final points, namely 36 points. But unfortunately, the head to head record makes Persipura have to be willing to compete in League 2 next season.
