The 7-year-old boy Jaïr Soares from Rotterdam disappeared on August 4, 1995 when he and his family had visited the beach of Monster in Westland. The boy and his parents had bought chips from Beach Club Molenslag. He soon started playing again. When his parents returned to the towels, where a family friend was sitting with her daughter, Jair was gone.
