The Financial Administration of the Czech Republic began sending out receipts for the payment of real estate tax. The invoices will be delivered to the taxpayers no later than May 25, 2022. However, not everyone will have it in their inbox.
As the Financial Administration points out, pThe ticket will not arrive for those who have a data box, pay via SIPO or have subscribed to send data for paying tax by e-mail, or have a tax of up to CZK 30.
How long to pay the tax?
The deadline for payment of the tax (or its first installment) ends on May 31, 2022. If the amount of the tax does not exceed CZK 5,000, it is payable in full by 31 May 2022. If the tax is higher than CZK 5,000, it is payable in two installments (by 31 May and 30 November 2022), but the taxpayer may pay it within until May 31, 2022 to pay at once.
The bank account of the tax office to which the tax is paid is pre-printed on the invoices, including the area code and bank code.
Real estate tax is determined by the total amount for all real estate of the taxpayer, which are located in the territory of the relevant region. The name and address of the managing territorial office of the tax office, where the taxpayer has his real estate tax file, is also stated on the slip file.
If you own more real estate in one region and do not have a tax higher than CZK 5,000, you will find only one voucher in the envelope. Payments for all real estate in the region will be added together. Anyone who owns real estate in different regions or pays a tax higher than CZK 5,000 will find more vouchers in the envelope.
