Pensioners in Ukraine Can Receive 5 Light Bulbs with Just One Action

In Ukraine, now every pensioner will be able to receive 5 light bulbs. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted changes to the Procedure for implementing a pilot project to create favorable conditions for ensuring efficient electricity consumption.

How can pensioners get light bulbs?

To do this, pensioners need to come to the office with a pension certificate.

“This will speed up the process of issuing light bulbs to recipients before the start of the autumn-winter period of increased loads,” he explained.

According to him, an additional opportunity was introduced for pensioners to receive five LED lamps per individual directly at Ukrposhta branches.

The most energy-consuming appliances:

Computer or laptop (5 hours a day) – from 20 to 81 kWh. Refrigerator (24 hours a day) – from 17.1 to 38.4 kWh (depending on the energy efficiency class). TV (5 hours a day) – from 6.5 to 30 kWh per month (depending on the TV). Washing machine (twice a week for an hour) – from 17 to 25 kWh per month. Electric kettle (hour per week) – consumes from 10 to 22 kWh.
